Our Studies

Biomarkers

Innovative translational research uses biomarkers to accelerate or aid in diagnosis or monitoring and provide insight into “personalized” medicine.

A biomarker is a quantifiable biological parameter (such as blood pressure, heart rate, blood and genetic test, and x-rays) that are measured and evaluated over time as an indicator of normal biological, pathogenic, or pharmacologic responses to a therapeutic intervention.
