Daniel Sacchetti, DO, FAAN is a double board-certified vascular neurologist who joined K2 Medical Research–Rhode Island in 2025. He completed his neurology residency at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI, followed by a fellowship in vascular neurology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, NY.
Since completing his training, Dr. Sacchetti has remained on faculty as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, in addition to holding numerous educational and administrative leadership roles. Prior to joining K2 Medical Research, he served as Chief of Neurology at Southcoast Health, a large multi-hospital healthcare system in southeastern Massachusetts.
Dr. Sacchetti earned his undergraduate degree from Boston College and a master’s degree from Boston University before obtaining his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine. A lifelong learner, he is committed to providing patients and families with the most current, evidence-based treatment options to optimize and preserve brain health.
Outside of his professional work, Dr. Sacchetti enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, exploring the coast of Cape Cod and the Islands in the summer and the mountains during the fall and winter seasons.
